Take it to court. Remind the court that although a minor infraction a traffic violation is a criminal charge. Ask for them to present the certificate saying that the radar gun has been maintenanced regularrly. They rarely have it with them, but as part of law all police equipment needs to be regulary maintained. Ask the officer if he himself did it. Next up ask the officer what his mark in highschool english was. Granted it was not 100 percent so it is possible he made an error on another report. Since the officer is using a report (unless you were obnoxious enough to remember) he does not remember you personally. He will not be able to tell the courts what you were wearing. If you have requested the police report and they did not give it to you, it gets thrown out.
Lastly remind the court that the onus is on the prosocution to show beyond reasonable doubt (remember the criminal thing) that you were speeding. Since the radar is inadmissable and it is your word against his (and he is not perfect) show the court that the traffic lawyer has not shown up with a complete case and ask the judge to throw out the ticket.
Its worked for me twice. Its all in the preperation. Dont just take my word for it, read up and do your homework.

Ask the judge to reduce your current violation to an 11 10A . This will drop it to a failure to stop for a traffic control device. It's the equivalent of not stopping for a stop sign. The fine will stay the same but the county will get the money and you won't have any points on your license. If they convict you of the whole violation the money will go to the state. Try this it usually works. That is, if you weren't pulled over by a state trooper.

Sorry, Sweetie, but it is to late to beat it. Once you entered a guilty plea and paid the fine, the ticket was sent into the state highway department records division and, once there, there's no recalling it. Your insurance is going up and up and up. I don't understand that if you paid $140 for the ticket, why the MVD wants you to write a letter...

Twenty-one over?! You're lucky you didn't lose your license on the spot. The cop DID do you a favor by giving you only a fine. The point is for you to learn your lesson and not speed.
Take some responsibility and pay the ticket.

No way my friend. Your insurance company will pick it up on renewal.
Sounds like you better go to the court house and make sure they show you paid the ticket.
From what you said about DMV, they are showing that the fine hasn't been paid.

No possibility you're getting 0 factors. do no longer wait. call or bypass to courthouse and ask approximately alleviation of the nice in case you plead in charge and pay NOW. obtainable they could cut back the fee to a lesser volume over speed cut back or all the way down to "imprudent speed". the two way you will get some factors. Seeing it is your first offense, they simply ought to do it. See if can communicate over with a court commissioner or somebody with comparable call. they want to cut back court appearances - saves time and money.

I am sorry, but there is nothing that you can do to prevent this from going on to your driving record. Now some insurance companies do not check your driving record each time they renew you. Be happy that they did not charge you with reckless operations which is even worse.

You could have been charged with reckless driving. So you see the officer did do you a favor. And no matter what the insurance co. will find out.
