Aren't they also taking something 'out of context'?

a million John 2:22 who's a liar yet he that denieth that Jesus is the Christ? he's antichrist, that denieth the daddy and the Son. a million John 4:3 and each spirit that confesseth not that Jesus Christ is come contained in the flesh isn't of God: and it truly is that spirit of antichrist, whereof ye have heard that it truly is going to go back; or perhaps now already is it contained in the global. 2 John a million:7 for most deceivers are entered into the global, who confess not that Jesus Christ is come contained in the flesh. it truly is a deceiver and an antichrist. Islam makes a level to state repeatedly and over that Allah has no son. For a Christian that must be a sparkling indicator of an Antichrist idea device. a sparkling contraindication of the teachings of the recent testomony so for this reason can't achievable be a continuation of it. One places Christ contained in the area of being the lord god and Messiah that takes away the sins of the global . And the different portrays him as merely a prophet. they don't praise one yet another.

Some Christians quote bits of the bible out of context, like one line from the law for the Levites to attack gays.
They are just trying to "score points", not find wisdom.

Do penguins really eat cod???

Yes, they are. I myself have never quoted anything from the Qu`ran. I hate it when even other Christians take Bible verses out of context. I've been meaning to study the Islamic faith so I can better understand it.

a true Christian preaches love and life through Christ and copies His style in engaging people who don't believe in Him. Context or no context, religion is the problem. I've always said that "religion is politicised spirituality" and I think that answers your question.

There is no violence in the Quran.

The Quran merely makes men of Muslims and advise them that they will be hated for love of Allah and must defend themselves.

Quran also advises that those who wish to live in peace with you should be allowed to live in peace.

funny, nowhere in the Bible does it say about taking over the world by force with our belief.
A scholar of the Qu'ran even admitted on the radio of this Islamic belief that all either convert or fall by the sword.
This is the "final word" of Allah.

That's our typical double standard at work. WE dish it out, but we can't take it in return.
