I think they can have a parade if they want. Also don't Catholics have parades and stuff..like Feast days for Saints? I saw it in a movie where the street were blocked for a Saint parade. I think its ok for Christians to have parades.

Nothing prevents Christians from having a Christian parade. Perhaps you're mistaking government funded events for private ones. If a government, like a city or town, sponsors a parade they cannot choose to support or fund any religion due to the anti establishment clause of our constitution. If you can imagine the complexities of doing otherwise, you'll see why it's there.

Actually, there has been in the past a March for Jesus originally organized by Graham Kendrick) and apparently now there is in fact a Jesus day. I've put a link to one page about it. However, everyday can be a celebration where you can take His love for you and "Pass It On" (that was the name fo a song in the '70s). I also found the Global March for Jesus site and have also shared thelink to Graham Kendricks website.

Our church has a parade or pilgrimage once a year during the month of May to honor Mary, the Mother of God. We start at the College of Mt. ST Joseph and end at the church. We do this at night, each having a candle and we pray the rosary and sing beautiful songs. It is a sight to see. Thanks for asking.
And what about St. Patrick's day parades?

Because most people try to keep religion (specifically Christianity) out of the public square as much as possible, because people are often worried about offending sensibilities and excluding people of other beliefs.
