Slowly.
First, see a doctor before beginning any exercise routine, especially running. Running will magnify any structural imbalances tenfold.
Second, consult a qualified personal trainer. They can help you achieve your goals safely.

If you want to increase stamina, try the walk/run method:

first, warm up with walking and jumping jacks, range of motion stretches and water.

then, run at a comfortable pace. You should be able to talk normally and not be out of breath. If you are not able to talk, slow down and keep running. Drink water.

When you cannot keep running comfortably, slow down to a brisk walk to catch your breath. Drink water.

When you catch your breath and your heart rate evens out, start running again. Drink water.

I used a 5 minute run/ one minute walk routine, increasing the run time until I could run continuously for an hour. After a year of running I decided to train for a marathon. I have finished three Chicago Marathons so far.

Remember to cool down with water, a long walk and stretches. See a qualified massage therapist to help with the stretches and to help ward off muscular pains.
Water is very important but replacing electrolytes is also important. Drinking diluted Gatorade is one way to do this.

you have to just work on it a little at a time. It does not happen overnight. Try doing a walk/run for 10 mins a day. Gradually work yourself up to longer. For example . walk like 3 mins then run 2 mins. then walk 3 mins and run 2 mins.. etc...

slowly work up to it. jog for a couple of minutes then walk for a couple of minutes, keep doing this while increasing the jog time. eventually you'll be able to run longer and longer distances without having to walk at all.

go for long, brisk walks. jog/run at regular times, pace, and distance--3 times a week. when you find it simple enough, you can increase your distance by approx 500 meters at a time. it isn't simple, you gotta work hard! :D good luck...
