A code 3 is a missing child in the store.I only know this because a little boy wandered up to me in Wal Mart and asked me to help him find his mother.All the while I kept hearing code 3 on the pa.

It is NOT a missing child, that is code adam (i.e Adam Walsh - John Walsh's son....America's Most Wanted host). I do know that the list of codes is posted at most of the registers where the clerks can see it.
