Ok, here's the deal. I am in love with my best guy friend. And he knows I like him.
Last night, I posted a bulletin on Myspace saying "I don't think I love him anymore." He messaged me back, asking me why I don't like the guy anymore. I said it was because he was too far away and I could never have him.
His reply was "Oh...umm...well I'm glad that you're moving on. Do I know this guy?"
I said, "I doubt it." He said, "Oh. Ok. Well."
And then we stopped talking for the night. This morning, he called me, asking if I wanted to come over and spend the day with him. I declined, because I was busy. He seemed very sad and when I asked him why doesn't he ask his girlfriend, he said that he didn't feel like it.
A few days ago on New Years Eve, as soon as the ball dropped, he called me and wished me a happy New Years. I asked him this morning if he ever called his girlfriend, and he said "Uh...no...I was busy."

Now, he is trying to spend more time with me then his girlfriend. He calls me in the middle of the night, just to talk about life. He is more close to me than he's ever been. And now that I have in a way rejected him, I feel like he finally realized what he could of had and is now falling for me.

What should I do? I still love him with everything I have. Should I act on it?

People want what they can't have. They want the challenge. He was probably very used to having you always like him. Now, that he thinks you are over him, he may think, ugh I missed my chance. He may also wonder why you do not like him any more and miss your admiration. He may want to charm his way back into your heart.

...or he could of just finally realized that he really does truly like you.

Wait until he breaks up with his girlfriend before you take things further with him.

woah, this is weard you sound like I girl I knew. She liked me for 3 years but I didn't go out with her because
#1 I was very shy and never had a GF
#2 she always flirted

but in the end I went out with her for a while, but I broke up with her because she kept on flirting with that guy.

You should spend more time with him.

If you like him and he likes you go for it. It seems he'd rather talk to you than his girlfriend.
