Exercise is the best thing and does not have to take much time or any money. A skipping rope could solve your problems and getting up 15 minutes earlier. I solved my stress and anxiety this way. If you start your day by producing endorphins naturally, you suddenly find you are energised and able to deal with stress much more positively. For me, it started with a good walk every morning and then when I had my daughter I'd take her in the buggy and she'd sleep and that warded of post-natal depression for me - some head space in the morning made the rest of the day pleasanter. When she got too old for the buggy I bought a step machine and did a blast of that every morning while she was having breakfast and this solved it. If funds are limited for you, start by jumping rope every morning before you shower - you may find you can only do 5 sets of ten to begin with but I guarantee it will improve quickly and any raising of your heartrate, increasing your breathing and getting sweaty will produce endorphins - try it for a week - I will be very surprised if you do not feel more positive by the end of it.

You need to relax. Participating in more activities isn't going to help. Instead, take that time and do something relaxing. Put on the bunny slippers and grab some hot cocoa! Seriously, try to be optimistic, and look at the bright side. If your workplace is really causing you unbearable stress, I suggest you find a new place to work.

Find something that works for.
1) Try joining a gym--get yourself in a routine of exercising
2) Talk to your family about ways to keep stress down. Can other people help out at home?
3) Take a vacation--you deserve one.

A lot of things from eating sleeping and exercising to avoiding stressful activities are all a good start and often hard to do.
Some stress could be just in your head caused by a chemical imbalance in Serotonin. Personally, Ive seen the use of Prozac reduce tons of stress in my life.

Stress is neither good or bad. Too much is bad and too little is bad.
Regular massage therapy can help a lot. Breathing exercises and meditation also help.
Exercise is a great way to deal with stress.
Massage therapy is probably the most effective and rewarding all around.
I recommend trying to get a massage at least once or twice a month.
Massage schools usually offer reduced rate student massages. You get a good massage and help students learn.

Quit your job. Find one that you really like, maybe you won't get paid as much, but you'll feel better. Then you'll find more time to exercise. It's great for stress. Learn about belly breathing...it can de-stress you in 20 minutes!

actually you dont fight it, you just allow you and your mind to relax...you stop worrying about things that you can not control and everything will work out for you, the stress will go away.
if you are trying to stop stressing about something that someone else has challenged you to do, you may want to ask yourself are you doing whatever it takes to keep this situation from being stressful.

I have a stress job too. During my breaks and lunch, I do stretching, aerobics, and weightlifting. Makes me feel like a new person.
