My first impression when I read your question was that you may be smothering her and she wants to step back and evaluate the whole thing. My second thought is this is just the first step in breaking it off with you. She's just being nice right now. Soon she'll lower the boom.

Not always. Sometimes a girl just needs time to think things through, and figure stuff out.

It's time to move on. "Timeouts" are a nice way of saying "it's time to move on"....
