She left me because she suspected me of cheating without proof. It hurt but i accepted it finally but she kept callin and making comments and just being negative bringing me down. So i told her what she wanted to hear just so she'll stop.

Lying is always wrong. If you can't tell the truth, and be believed, then there must be previous trust issues between you.

Yes, it is completely wrong. If she is that obsessive about your supposed "cheating" even when she had no proof, then she's going to be doubly as insane now that she has a "confession". Even if you are broken up, expect her to call you twice as much just rubbing this in your face in her psycho neurotic way.

The real answer is just to completely ignore her. Chicks like this are like the videotape from the Ring. You watched the tape (sucks to be you), so the only thing you can do is make a copy and hand it off to her next unsuspecting victim.

At this point it doesn't matter whether it was right or wrong, it seems as though you already made your decision and you told her what she wanted to hear. Your focus now should be on the hurt you experienced from the breakup. If she keeps calling and bringing you down, dont pickup the phone.

Why didn't you just tell her that being she does not trust you then your relationship would never be a lasting one and you will make each other miserable so, therefore, you should each go your own way.

It is wrong to lie and you probably did it because you really wanted to break up with her.

It is never a good idea to lie to tell someone what you think they want to hear especiall y if it is not true is a lie and it will always back fire on you. HONESTY is always the best policy always when some one accuses you and you know you're doing nothing maybe its because they are up to something think about it!!

Sounds to me like too much water has gone under the bridge now. Let it go.

What's done is done....you cannot undo it. Even if you told her the truth now she probably would never believe you and you will open the door for her again.

I don't think she will leave you alone now. If anything, you have probably fueled her fire on the matter.

If you don't want to be with her then what could it hurt, she already thinks you did it!
