Of course it is. Human beings are emotional creatures. It's okay to have emotions, it's alright to feel, just don't let them be a stumbling block. People get funny about Internet dating, yet alot more people do it than will admit. Think about it, normal people are on the internet, just like you're normal and you're on the internet, I'm normal, co-workers, friends, etc. I can almost promise you that the last guy who asked for your phone number in person also has some sort of contact with another human being online. More of the men that I meet in person turn out to be weirdos than those who I meet online. It's just another branch of communication and it's perfectly alright.

i prefer real people, it is more real.haha
i have several net best-friends.they r good for advice n talk.rily nice ppl.. no arguments-
but if u want to take this relationship to another stage
arrange a meet-up and get to know the real him
beside there is alot of bad guy on the net
ppl can be different on the internet than real worlds.. kindda split personality.haha
u may realise u like the him on the net better than the real ones
then only u can decide to like him ^-^

Yes it's okay. Just take it slowly. IM him, talk on the phone, eventually if you meet, make sure it's in a public place and then you will figure out if it could lead to more. I just met a really great guy online and that's what I did to make sure he was legit. Others have not turned out so well, so you really do have to be careful.

What're u,`nuts??!! U don't know anything about this guy, HELL NO it's not ok! He could be a pedifile or worse, a rapist! Sure he "seems" ok, that's the way these pedifiles get to u. He could be 1 of those guys who, when u go to meet them, will "sell" u into prostitution. RUN, as fast as u can, AWAY fom this guy. He's bad news. Good Luck!

sure - just know he is 47 years old, balding, lives with his mother and floggs the bishop 4 times a day on average .. when his mum is out .. bad teeth and even worse breath, is considerably overweight ...
this gem of a fella wears sweat pants and a grimey tee shirt except for weddings, funerals and court dates of family members ... the smell of old dirty socks follows him everywhere .
