My kids got digi boxs for xmas. I,v gone bought big loft ariel, spent ages in the loft pointing it same way as the ariel outside. Came down scratched,bleeding and covered in dust and cobwebs. And the f...... things still wont recieve any channels. is it because i live at the coast??? HELP MEEEEE!!!

you can go on the http://www.freeview.co.uk/home web site and find out the signal strength in your area. you could also try an indoor digital ariel which work well with freeview. Argos give a 16 day moneyback guarantee so if it didn't help you haven't lost anything.

Have you tried it with your normal TV aerial?
If you can receive Channel 5, you SHOULD get Digital TV.
If it works, then get a splitter and amplifier, and run a coax up stairs.
I tried a Digital aerial in the loft, and NOTHING!

You will need to go back into the loft and take the aerial and mount it outside. I tried installing my aerial in the loft, but did not get any reception, so I installed it outside and the reception is brilliant now.

u need to plug ur scart lead in to ur tv av and in to the bk off ur digi box and go to av on ur tv it doesnt matter what way ur ariel is pointing my friend had same problem as u i had it going in 5mins u must connect to av on the tv it could b av1 2 or 3 goodluck hope i was helpful

have u tried small inividual areas for each individual box. thats what we have in my house and it works fine. Have u scanned for channels again cos sometimes it needs to be adjusted like that if you move the aerial

you need a signal booster/ amplifier box. should cost you around £15-£20
