On December 13, 2006 I asked this guy i liked to the dance that was on the 15th. He told me that he doesn't think that he is free that night because he has a Christmas party to go to and his dad's team that he coaches has a game that night. I kept it cool and pretended that it was all right that he didn't accept.The next few days at school it was very awkward and we didn't say anything to each other until on the 15th (last day of school for 2006) i gave him a candycane and said "happy holidays" and he said "oh thanks". then a few days later i imed him and we are kind of talking. he has never asked any questions or start a conversation on aim (same with my other friends).
so far we have talked like twice on aim (both started by me) I am trying to move on. But i still have faith that something can happen. yesterday when we went back to school for the first time in 07 we walked past each other and gave each other a small smile (hes really polite to all girls). What should i do now? t/y

Don't be to aggressive. If he doesn't like you, you're going to scare him off. I would just keep on talking with him and try to develop a friendship with him. Once you can talk freely with him, ask him to hang out with you... go to the mall or a movie or hang out after school. Find out what common intrestest you both have. Don't let him know that you like him.

Well I just have to say that your 13 and boys will come and go. If you have faith in God a great guy will come along that allows you to live a wonderful and happy life with him. That's not going to happen right now, God has other plans. Moving on takes time, it doesn't come instantly. Just give it time, don't move on too fast, if you do, he might not not like you, he just may not be ready. So give yourself some time to deal and to adjust ok.

Tell him that you are interested in him and that you want him to know he has a chance to be with you if he wants. Then leave it at that and see if he steps up, if he doesn't, you should move on, it will only hurt you more.
