You can have both...at your peril! ;)
Seriously, you are young. It probably won't last. Have fun dating, but don't have unsafe sex! Use a condom.

I think this depends on you, and your relationships, and frankly your dates. Which is to say, I guess, "It depends."
Very few things in life are more satisfying than a good relationship, and a good relationship should be fun. On the other hand, dating around gives you variety, which can fell like, and sometimes is, exciting. Being in a relationship is reliable, you can establish routines, dating around means constantly looking for new opportunities. Some people prefer predictable, and stress about meeting new people...some people live for the thrill of the chase.
The real decision maker here is in your heart. If you're ready to commit to a relationship, you'll know. No one can hold up the sign for you that says "now". Generally what happens is you date around, until you find someone that makes it sound like more fun to be in a relationship.

If you're young, then I strongly suggest dating around first. It will give you experience with the opposite sex and prepare you for real relationships when that time comes. Dating also allows you to meet various people to get an idea of what your preferences and needs are.............It's a wise choice and of course, more fun. Just make sure that these people know you're only interested in dating for now, so that they can look elsewhere if something more serious.........You never know what's going to happen in life. While dating, you might meet the person of your dreams before you even realize it.

You have to date around to find the right person to be in a relationship with. Commiting to a relationship should be a serious thing, it is very special but it requires work. Before you take that step you should make sure both you are ready, and it is with the right person. When you find someone that makes you become a better person when you're around them, then it will be time for a relationship.

Relationships before the age of 25 should have an automatic shut off valve that kicks in at 90 days, reminds you you have no idea what you'll want when you're 30, and instantly moves your most recent bf/gf 1,000 miles away so you can move on.
By 30's, relationships are better, if they're the 'right' relationship.

It is fun to date around and you don't have to worry about nothing but if you are in a relationship you have to watch out what you are doing and who with. But it is what you are looking for to answer your question.

The answer depends on how young you are. If you're 15 or younger, the answer is yes you're too young for a relationship. But if your older than that, I think it's alright to have atleast one long relationship. Otherwise, it also just depends on how you feel about someone. Forget fun, fun will come when fun you go by your intuition/ Follow your natural instincts. :)

It depends on if you want to find a loving relationship.
Dating around would give you casual and potentially fun relationship. But it will not give you the same loving relationship as in a stable relationship.

How young?
It's fun to be in a relationship as long as it's a good one...otherwise dating around is the better option (in otherwords keeping your options open).
