My fiance wants to adopt my daughter but I need to get her father to give up his parental rights and I need to know where I need to start so that I can get the ball rolling?

you need a lawyer for this...if her father is involved in your daughters life and has a goods relationship with her would he give up his parental rights..if there is no involverment on his part termininating his righht might be easy to do

I am no lawyer by any means but there are certain steps you do need to take. You need to consult a lawyer first and foremost. But fair warning, not all fathers are willing to give up their rights without a fight so I hope you're ready for the somewhat rocky road unless he's a deadbeat.

Permission from her father first. Unfortunately that is the law. Get his permission and then after you are married shouldn't be to hard talk to a Justice of the Peace or a lawyer
