What's the best way to work out your lower abdominal muscles?
When I do sit-ups, only my upper abs are flexing and getting stressed. My lower abs don't seem to be doing much work but I want to get rid of a little pot belly in that area. I appreciate any help.

Try scissors. That's where you lie on your back, raise your legs and cross them over each other. Or else lie on your back and spell out the alphabet by raising your legs and tracing the shapes of the letters with your feet - legs straight, toes pointed for best results. Won't take you long to feel exactly which muscles these are working if you haven't done it before!

Lay on your back, reach your arms above your head and hang on to your couch or something heavy. Keep both legs together and raise and lower them almost to the floor.

leg lifts are great, however try this exercise: first: lay on your back and lift your bottom torso with both feet a few inches high continue doing this up and downward about 20-25 reps daily this will really help.

watch what you eat all the time in the gym was wasted if you kill it in the kitchen..next get a bench that inclines.and do incline sit ups with your head at the lowest point and touch your knees..also put a stick across your shoulder hold with hands as far apart as you can lean over sideways and move side ti side Hope you understand this..good luck
