Right on man..I couldn't have said it better myself. I wonder why there aren't many war protesters like back during the Vietnam war. It seems like most American's really don't pay attention to these things.

I will respond to your statement one point at a time.
1) No WMDS? Well unless you were unaware it was the USA among others that supplied Saddam WMD's when he was fighting Iran (Maybe you don't understand what a WMD is, so I'll link to a definition). Further Saddam's Iraq has used WMD's before the current war & Former US President Clinton actually stated that Iraq had these weapons during his term in office.
2) While Saddam's Iraq had no connection to 9/11 or Al Quaeda, it was known that Saddam sponsored other terrorist groups, especially in Gaza. Afterall is not the War on Terror, more then just the War on Al Quaeda?
3) I am unaware of the total costs of the war in Iraq Vs the total fiscal benefits of the war, so if there is any proof to suggest that this war is about money, evidence & not hearsay is required.

Hello buddy,
This war has got a lot to do with money. While I believe the WMD story was pure made-up bull shiit, the Bush Administration really wanted to replace Saddam (even BEFORE 9/11).
They wanted to get rid of the dictatorship and replace it a democratic Iraq where women can vote and wear bikinis. It was hoped by the U.S. that the people in Syria and Iran will take notice of this and OVERTHROW their leaders in pursuit of the same lifestyle of the liberated Iraqis. You see?
But the plan got stuck in Iraq with the insurgency. The cultural divisions of the Iraqis was not understood clearly by Washington and now we are stuck in a war in which American soldiers, American citizens, AND American politicians don't know what the hell is going on.
And to add insult to injury, the old saying, "where money is, so is corruption," has come true in Iraq. The war provides massively rewarding projects to the American military-industrial complex which enjoys an "incredible" amount of funding.
One of my friends, who was a Marine in Iraq, says that Cheney's "Halliburton" name could be found anywhere from cutlery to toilet paper.
And don't forget the oil. Washington wanted its oil sources (Iraq among many) to be ruled by democratic institutions and not by a dictator who experienced mood swings every five minutes. So they had to kill him (which they have done).
Well, whatever the hell happens, I will always support our DEAR SOLDIERS WHO KEEP US SAFE EACH DAY THROUGH THE SACRIFICES OF THEIR BLOOD.
GOD BLESS OUR GREAT WARRIORS.

Please, please, please do your research before you start saying all these things. Most of the "Bush is a liar, devil, the Iraq war is a way to get money" talk comes from Hollywood and the media, both of which are comprised of radical left-wing individuals whoʻd like nothing more than to trash G.W. Bush. A lot of what you see on networks like CNN is not the truth, but is presented from a bias left-wing view.
Now, as for your question, here are a few things that might point to the answer.
1. The war in Iraq isnʻt just a scheme to get rich. Do the math. Even with all the oil we could get in Iraq, it will never add up to the billions weʻve spent on the war. Money is lost, no matter what.
2. Saddam Hussein may not have been directly involved with 9/11, but he was a huge supporter of terrorism and al-Qaeda. For more info on this, you can read one of the many articles on this here:
www.hillsdale.edu/imprimis/2006/12/
3. Weʻre not sure that there were no WMDʻs in Iraq. Itʻs not fact, though the media has tried to say it is. Therefore this canʻt be a point to criticize the war.
I hope this helps. I am not taking any sides, I am not a right-wing or left-wing, I donʻt like the fact that we are at war. War is always a terrible thing, never as glorious as it is depicted to be. All I am doing is presenting fact, as far as we know now.
P.S. I donʻt think G.W. Bush is our best president, but he is our president nonetheless. Like him or not, he is our leader, and we ALL need to treat him with the respect he deserves. He has the most stressful job on Earth and canʻt be perfect in his every move. Donʻt judge anyone without absolute solid proof!

I'll just give you what I know from the news I have accumulated, as I'm sure, nobody wants to die for George W. Bush but someone will die to protect him as it is their job. So, here are the news;
The coalition of the willing as George W. Bush called them was lead by the Americans and seconded by the Great Britain... is actually the final decisions from the United Nations as Saddam Hussein keeps on defying the Laws established by the Union... as for the WMD... when finally, Iraqis allowed the Nuclear Inspectors to do their job for the United Nation, only the remnants was found, including the mobile reactor units... my doubts is that the Nukes have been moved in Iran in which the concerned are looking into.
As for the United State, they want the Democratic Form of Government be re-established as before in Iraq, as when Saddam Hussein is just a lowly assassin of their President by then but failed and have to hide away.
As for the money, oil will be the payback of the whole events which would be a legal transactions between US and Iraq.
As far as I'm concern... I'm not expert to this to be dealt with but what I have given you is the news I have accumulated.

Are you for REAL? I know you are blind, but are you for REAL? No WMD's in Iraq? What the hell you think the insurgents are using as IED's? Thats part of the WMD's right there. Insurgents are smarter than you think. What part of terrorism do you NOT understand. AND HOW DARE YOU TELL ME THAT I AM NOT FIGHTING FOR AMERICA WHEN I AM IN IRAQ!!! Its people like you who demoralize this country.
OK Let me put it to you straight....There are more reasons why we should be where we are and what we are doing that out weigh the reasons of why we shouldn't be there. One reason is .....Let me spell it out for you.....TERRORISM. What part of that word do you not understand? Do you like having BBQs in you back yard with out having the worry that some deranged islamofashist terrorist that wants 100 virgins in Heaven, wearing a belt of C-4 wont come in and blow you and your family into a million pieces? Terrorism is more prominent than it used to be. But you see you are one of these folks that have to blame your country for everything you see that isn't to YOUR specifications. If you think you can do better, Run for office and prove it!!! You need to quit finding reasons to hate this country and find the reasons why its such a great country. If this was WW2 and you were running your mouth like you are now, they would label you a traitor. But then are you even from this country? What part of the world are you from? People should be asking You what Your agenda is!! Your definitely are not patriotic, You do not support your troops, You dont even support your country.....I do not think I have to tell you what you are ....You already know.

George Bush is a warfare criminal who revenue from the deaths of harmless human beings. do unlike my opinion? good because of the fact its not an opinion, its the way it incredibly is. do not believe me? good connect the army and circulate to iraq to alter your attitude.

Its nice that you have this much passion, but your words mean nothing in the grand scheme of things.
Really, unless you have advanced degrees in economics, foreign relations, and potlical science, this is just venting out your political frustrations which amounts to little more than cyberspace banter.
Why don't you focus on solutions instead, and a few courses in Rhetoric wouldn't hurt either.

Ok, could you define 'no WMD'? I think the 100,000 or so Kurds that were attacked with mustard gas might object to that particular phrase.

Chemical weapons caches were found but the lefty media didn't want to look like fools so they never reported on it.
"that there have been hundreds of canisters or weapons of various types found that either currently have sarin in them or had sarin in them, and sarin is dangerous. And it's dangerous to our forces, and it's a concern." Rumsfeld.
