I congratulate you for the interesting question you've prompted.
Vvery juicy with much food for thought.
Initially I should agry with the definitions of Webster dictionary that Teejay brought up adding some of my thoughts as well.
Religion: belief in and reverence for a supernatural power accepted as the creator and governor of the universe.
But it has been used by a few "smart" ones to exploit the stupid "masses" and milk them like cow or sheep. (for the milk, meat, wool, skin. Nowadays nothing goes for waste....everything is recyclable and can bring "bacon home")
Belief: mental act, condition or habit of placing trust or confidence in a person or thing.
It depends on the "person's" mentality, the marmalade that cover the eyes (what brand), and the crap that has been fed, in order NOT to be able to "think" by himself, and NOT to be able to see, not the "truth", but the people who try to foolish him in order to rober him, first of all from his dignity.
Faith: confident belief in the truth, value or trustworthiness of a person, idea or thing
Well, here we have a modern term from Psychology...It is called...."PRODUCTIVE IMAGINATION".
In combination with the "possitive belief" miracles can produced.
An artist has an image in his mind...
It is not visible, to others, but he can sence it.
He believes in his self and brings it into reality......
and we have a nice painting or from a bulk piece of rock, a nice statue.
Faith and belief can produce miracles.

Not bad. I see religion as an organized belief system, faith as the power of belief, and belief as an idea that you consider a fact of life. We are similar but different.

Look up the words faith and belief in a dictionary.
You need faith to believe, but both are simply thinking something is true with no reason or justification. How can we respect people who have so many beliefs then, and are strong in their faith?

Faith is the "gift of spirit" It is a spiritual connection to person place activity or thing. You can have faith in something but it starts within you.
Belief is a part of faith. It is your search for and connection to.
You can also believe in a person place activity or thing.
The first real experience of spirit is the faith and belief in our parents. We connect to them tightly spiritually and there is no worse destruction to the spirit than the loss of or finding falsehood in our parents.
Religion is entirely doctrine. It is a format for life and a way to believe it falls under "activity" or "Practice"
You can believe in a religion but it is not easy to gain faith in a religion. religion has no face. You can place faith in a Priest ,Pastor, Minister or Cleric. you can believe in his words.
Faith is personal. it is unique in each one of us. It is our own special gift and our own unique understanding. It is in every way our strength. Faith in ourselves is what helps us get through this life. It is the power that gives us relationships to others, inventiveness and continuity between our trinity. Were I one to believe in the doctrines of the Jedi, I would say faith is "the Force"

Religion is man's belief in God, belief is thinking about something and faith is not only thinking about something, but also performing actions, like giving up cash.

religion - a perspective/way of life, or even a group of like people born into or chosen converts trying to be spiritual and replicate one person's success at finding spirituality and happiness, but becoming a massive failure
faith - using common sense to predict outcome based on experience and reason
beliefs- shape our actions, actions get analyzed and shape our faith, then adjust our beliefs accordingly
religion? God (without) religion, or individual spirituality and introversion or meditation and becoming aware / awake

No
Faith is believing in what you can not prove or have not seen
Belief is concluding that something is true
Religion is a bunch of rituals thrown together to follow, usually attached to spiritual beliefs.
I am a Christian and I have faith in my belief in God and Jesus is my savior. I think there is to much religion and not enough relationship with God!!

I think: religion is the organization of beliefs, and the procedures for conducting worship. Beliefs are "facts" of things that have happened or have been promised, and faith is the intellectual decision to accept beliefs as fact.

I think the two sort of go hand in hand. Would you have faith without religion? Religion teaches us to believe and have faith.
Nice question.

I agree that religion is a method, of practicing your faith. Faith is a conviction of the truth concerning what you believe to be true. And yes people will have different levels of conviction depending what they believe to be true.
