So my 4 yrs old pomeranian has been pretty gassy lately. I'm kind of worried. I hope my parents arent slipping food for her under the table. So i guess my questions is... Do you have any idea what kind of food would make a small dog gassy?

Often cheaper dog food will make a dog gassy. Premium dog food (such as Nutro, Science Diet, etc.) helps quite a lot. My pup had this problem and we switched food (to Nutro) and it helped tremendously! Make sure, if you switch food, to do so gradually - otherwise this can upset your dog's stomach and make a bad problem much worse

Read the dog food label.
If it contains corn, wheat, chicken, or beef (all known allergens and gas producers) or anything you can't pronounce, consider switching.
Even if she's eaten the same food, as dogs age, their systems digest differently, causing gas, where she didn't have any before.

She could be getting table scraps, or it could be the kind of dog food she is on. If you;ve been given her new treats lately, that could do it too.

My dog gets very stinky gas from chicken dog food. Are you feeding that to your dog?

Have you changed her diet(food or treats) lately, or has she gotten into something? Check to see if they are giving her food.

well my dog once got gassy and he got better in not time.maybe you should ask you're parents..........or maybe make sure no cocoa is in it like the one that chocolate holds.hope you're dog feel better!!good luck!!

it may not be the food....u may be changin the food to often....
