Eating a healthy diet with lots of veggies and milk products. Make sure to get exercise too that is very important to bone health. Walking is great!!

EXERCISE makes for strong bones! Be sure you're getting enough calcium from your food; eat healthful meals and move that body!!!

Resistance training. (The sport formerly known as weightlifting). Middle-age to older women are encouraged to do resistance training to offset the problems of osteoporosis (thinning, brittle bones).

Older women needn't be bodybuilders, but using small, handheld weights helps. They can even use household items such as cans of soup, gallons of water, etc.
