If she is truly attacking them and you feel she might hurt them, it's best to separate them completely. It's rare, but mother cats can become aggressive toward their kittens, and can cause serious injury. The kittens are actually old enough to begin weaning and eating some solid food. Please don't feed them any sort of "human food" though. Buy a good quality kitten food (Royal Canin Baby Cat is great because it has tiny pieces that are easier for the little ones to chew and it's packed with the extra nutrients the little ones need). If you do buy dry food as opposed to canned, you can soften it with water or formula made specifically for kittens (KMR is the best one of those, in my opinion) - but cow's milk in any form will cause diarrhea as it is a natural laxative for cats. And since kittens this young can become dehydrated very quickly, you don't want them to have diarrhea. Watch to see if the kittens are understanding how to eat the food - if they aren't, you can bottle feed them using the KMR and a kitten nurser. Gradually though, you want to encourage them to eat the solid food. You'll also want to check to be sure they're urinating and defecating by themselves, as mom may still have been stimulating them to do so. If they aren't, you'll need to stimulate them (rub their genital area gently with a warm, damp cloth until they "go").
Be prepared for a lot of work until these guys get a little older and more independent! And please, get your kitty spayed. It's much healthier for her, and you won't have to deal with all this drama again.

Sounds like your cat is in the early stages of weaning her kittens; this is about the age when most queens (the moms) start the weaning process.

Since mom is starting the weaning process, you need to have food and water out for the kittens, as well as a litter box, if you haven't done this already. They will very quickly be dependent on you to provide food; mom should have been on kitten food during this time to give her additional nourishment for nursing, so hopefully this is already available, but if it isn't, start now.

She is only pushing them away from her, because their teeth are hurting her when the suck on her.
You can buy some cat food in pallet form and start feeding the babies with that, but you will have to wet the pallets with hot water and then mix some full cream milk with an egg and pour it over the pallets. The babies will need to be trained now to eat that. Do not give them the food in the packets, because they still need milk.
After another two weeks they will be fine and eating by themselves, but still the same food.

I don't know, so best to ask a vet, I just wanted to say DON'T listen to Jessie who said the kittens are too old and you need to seel them or the mother, kittens should stay with their mother til they are at least 13 weeks old, this is so they are prepared to life without their mother and they have had time to learn all their social skills.

If you touch or bother the kittens the mother might think that the sent of a predador is on them and she might hurt them to save herself;or, she might feel that she's not being treated as well as she used to be, before she had the kittens. She might feel left out.

It souds like she may be trying to wean them a bit too early. You may need to keep her away and supplement the kittens with formula you can buy at petsmart or petco.

She may need an improved diet or she may just be too young to be mum.

She may sense that they are weak and that they are ill. Are the kittens lively and do they seem ok? Ask your vet if the problem persists! =^..^=
