The worms are definitely intestinal worms and if your cat is vomiting them, then I would highly recommend going to the vet ASAP. While you are there getting her treated, I would get the other animals taken care of as well.

If they look kind of like spaghetti, they're roundworms.
Not difficult at all to deal with. You'll need to get wormer from your vet, and give two doses, two weeks apart.
It's unlikly that the dogs have them but I would perhaps dose them too, in case they've been "snacking" in the litter box, as many dogs are prone to doing. Nothing to worry about with the birds, and highly unlikely to be a problem for the kids, unless they've scooped the litter box without washing their hands.
What you're experiemcing is very common and has happened to many cat owners. Just please treat your cat as soon as possible to keep it safe, healthy and comfortable.

Take them to be dewormed, the worms are host specific so your dogs may not have the cat worms, but they potentially could have the canine version of them. Your best bet is to get them all dewormed and clean the yard, litterboxes and avoid dog parks for a good two weeks

Round worms or Ascaris. The cat needs to be dewormed and so do the dogs. You can get them dewormed at the vet's which is the surer way or you can buy dewormer at the pet shop.

You can get your cat a worm shot for about $6.00 that last permanently.
Get your cat to the vet for such a shot and she may need more to get rid of those awful worms.

If they're flattish, they are tape worms. Usually they break off in segments and are found in the stool. Save the worm and take it in to the vet.

u answered ur own question, she has worms, tape worms it sounds like. either way, take her to the vet, and maybe bring a TIGHTLY sealed sample of what you've described. they can deworm her and deflea her and make sure there is nothing else going on, and yes, this isn't good for the rest of ur household, but can be easily treated

You should be able to identify them easily enough by using an on-line search. Once you've identified what type they actually are, you'll know whether they may have possibly spread, and what treatment you should seek. There are actually different treatments for different worms.

It could be tapeworms. I'd take kitty to the vet asap to get her dewormed/ or recieve medicine. If it IS tape worms, humans can't get them except by ingesting fleas ( which is one way animals get them) . Just watch for signs of them in you dogs and birds...
