my dog now is called spencer he is a mixed breed but anyway i got him from a couple that paid 900 at a pet store thinking this was a new breed of dog. well he is new breed of dog sort of he is called a mixed breed.
he is wonderfull white looks much like the dog happy in that show 7th heaven . anyway i got him because the lady thought the dog was to high strung and would bite some kids. fact is she was the high strung one . when i first got spencer years ago now
he was afaired of all sort of sounds any odd sound i might make like a play sound and he would run . now well it only took about 2 weeks at the most with me he loves it when i make monster sounds and play and he doesnt run away from new sounds he jus listens and watches to see whats up.
i dont think i have in the past 5 or 6 years taken that dog for a walk in public that he hasnt had at least one person say oh isnt he cute or some such thing .
he loves kids. he really loves old people my mom was old he got to know her sat on her knee for hours when she was at my house because she was dying . so now all old people are just great i think he figuers there all like my mom and like nothing more then to sit and pat the dog.
this is the third dog i have had that is a kind of rescue every one of them has been fantastic . i have found that all the ones i have had where i am the second owner will never run away let them all of the leash all the time and they all pay great attention to what i am doing. much more so then the dogs i got as puppies
maybe you could get a dog that needs a new home . i know puppies are fun but think of the poor puppy he gets big and then the people put him in a pound and if no one comes soon he gets killed .
you can save a dogs life and have a dog that will know you saved him and love you for it.

I adopted German Shepherd/Chow mix. Gracie is reddish color and has the best traits of both breeds. She has the softest ears that feel like velvet. Her eyes tell everything; happiness, excitement, sad, mischievous etc. She is very smart because when I introduce her to new toys by name, she remembers them when I ask for them. She had a ball opening all her Christmas presents this year. She learns tricks quickly, my favorites are the high five and a beg. She was potty-trained quickly and never has had an accident. She is the best, she loves to cuddle even though she is 50 pounds of mush! She is also very protective, but I can't complain about one thing!

My dog's name is Newt and he is a pit bull. Although he is not the world's most brilliant dog, he is quite possibly the best. He is sweet to everyone and everything. Loves to swim, hike, run, fly, relax, watch movies, hang out with my cats and bird, have company, play with children, balls, sticks, and to go where I go. Never has even growled at anyone in his 9 years. He is a big loving hunk of a dog. His tail is always wagging and he even says "I love you." I can't even imagine what I'll do without him when his time comes to an end. I love him so very much!

My dogs name is Ruger ... like the gun. My oldest daughter picked the name ... it doesn't roll of the tonge very easily so I just call him roog. He is 140 pound mutt ... blood hound, bull mastiff, and a sprinkle of shepherd. I'm going to post him on Youtube ... with his massivness he chases a laser pointer like a house cat. It scares the heck out of guests. He is single minded and determined to catch the dot ... furniture and people go flying. He loves to chase things ... he pulled my front porch off the foundation last summer trying to catch a rabbit. As big as he is, though, he is all lap dog.

My baby boy (dog) his name is Sir Guinness of Bally Vaughan. We just call him Guinness. He is a four year old lab. Guinness is my best friend, my pillow at night and my child's guard dog. Even though Guinness is my boy; If anyone comes near my daughter he will stand them off. He weighs about 120lbs and also thinks that he is a lap dog. He is so sweet and laid back but very involved in all family activities.

My dog's name is Honey and he is a mutt. He looks kind of like a bigger RCA dog. He also looks kind of like a jack russell terrier. I love him because he is the sweetest dog ever. He always greets me exitedelly when I come in the door. He curls up and puts his paws on my shoulders like he is giving me a hug and he listens pretty well most of the time. Oh, and he never ever goes to the bathroom in the house.

My dog's name was Rosie she died in August. She was a 16 year old Cocker spaniel and she was my buddy and the most loyal dog ever. I used to call her "relay Rosie" because she would always walk in front of me but keep turning to make sure I was following her like we were running a relay race and I was going to pass her the baton. She was the best dog and I miss her so much. I am so happy for you that your so excited about getting your dog!!

My doggie's name is Hatchet. He is a boxer/pit mix and he is the most loveable dog in the world. He is very much a woman's dog though because he is very protective of me and will bark at my husband if we are playing around and I yell. He also takes my husband's seat on the couch as soon as he gets up. He is a total sweetheart.
