Toss it with some cooked pasta and shaved parmesan. Top with chopped parsley and serve.

You can use it as a dipping oil with some good crusty bread.

Grill some asparagus or some other yummy vegetable and drizzle the truffle oil on it.

Mix it with some butter and chopped parsley and melt a knob of it on a steak or double thick lamb chop.

Or add a splash of it to any dish that you want to jazz up!

That's an insane waste of money. Truffle oil is a seasoning, not a cooking medium.

I am no expert on it, but from what I understand, it is very aromatic and strong, so you would want to use it sparingly. Room temp is ok. You can use it in cooking, but I would not recommend using it like a normal oil (as in for sauteing or something), but rather more as a dressing/marinade. I've heard it goes great as a touch into mash potatoes, and glazed on meats.

~drizzle over mashed potatoes
~put a drizzle on soups or stews (esp. Cream of Mushroom Soup or Mushroom Risotto)

Refrigerate after opening.

You cah do an ingredient search at www.AllRecipe.com to find some ideas for using the truffle oil. You can probably also find information on preserving it at that site or www.FoodNetwork.com

it is good on white bean soup - just sprinkle a little on top of the soup at the time that you are serving it
