Space Aliens have landed and as a good-will gesture the U.S. Government has offered to give them an entire state as their 'home away from home'. Which state should it be, and why?

You can pick any state except Hawaii, the New England States, Alaska or Rhode Island. And of course, DC is out.

(Don't worry about the present residents of the state. They'll get a sweetheart deal and be happy to move. :)

Idaho, I am a student at OU and if I see that stupid Boise State statue of liberty reply one more time I am going to check myself into the hospital for massive depression.

Why are the New England States out? I'd think that space aliens would feel right at home in Vermont. They had Howlin' Howard Dean as a governor, didn't they? He certainly ain't a native of this planet YEEHAW!!!

Why can't we pick New England States? Massachusetts would be perfect, but anyway, I pick California. Let the aliens from another planet live with the aliens from this one, but they have to stay in Los Angeles.

NONE, the Gov has no right to give away any state.
Why can't those aliens go to Antarctica??
No one lives there why should we Americans have to give a state away. Why not some other country?? Why must America help everyone else even down to "aliens". Give em Antarctica, if they don't want it they can go back home.

Seeing as you posted this question under "immigration," I bet you're wanting us to post answers such as Texas, Arizona, or New Mexico. Your so-called "space-aliens" is a cover-up for illegal Mexicans from across the border.

The U.S. government would never "give away" a state, all of which earned their admission to the Union fair and square. An uprootal of millions of people would never be feasable, nor would it work. Please find some time to consider more mature answers before posting prejudiced questions.

New Mexico because theres nothing and they already know the place (area 51) and I guess theres a more than a half native american and hispanic population there (they get along more easily)

I would say bye to California. That way Pelosi wouldn't have a state to represent and wouldn't be in office.
