I think it would depend on the twins. How close they are. Whether they are competetors or best friends. Whether they are identical or paternal. Just speaking for myself I have an identical twin sister and yes we think a lot alike. We are very different also. We do finish each other's sentences and thoughts. We do "talk" a lot without saying a word. I don't know about the ESP thing, but we do have a "feeling" if something is not right with the other one. I know I wouldn't trade being a twin for anything. There is a bond between twins that cannot be duplicated (pardon the pun).

I have a twin sister, but we don't have the feeling when something is wrong with one of us. Sometimes, we talk at the same time and sometimes we think the same thing. When something is wrong, I just look at her body language and she does the same thing to me.

I have twins who just turned two years old. They are one boy and one girl. So far, I don't see anything yet that makes them any different from any other brother and sister, but that could change.
