Talk to your doctor.
But some things you could try are:
-drinking a lot of water
-drinking lemon water
-eating hot soup
-drinking tea (with a lot of honey to soothe your throat!)
good luck! hope you can get in shape before your play

take a tablespoon of honey straight up! Now, I hope you are not allergic or have diabetes or anything but taking honey absolutely soothes and has a healing effect on the throat and especially on laryngitis.
Break a leg in the play!

it lasts a few days, and you lose your voice. there is not much you can do, because it is a virus and you need to let it run it's course. you should do little talking as this strains your throat. if your play is a few days away you will be ok.
