All humans tend to be Judgmental no matter what or who they
are. One of our main paths in life is to overcome this shortcoming

At times I agree with you but I am also keenly aware that its no less judgemental outside the church. If in doubt just watch the blood thirst mobs when someone is facing the death penalty. I would like to add I think there is alot of misunderstanding about what judging actually is. I do not believe that we are being told to stop excercising judgement as to what is right or wrong. How would we know to avoid evil if we were not allowed to recognize it? There is a scripture that also says judge righteous judgement and another that says let every man be quick to hear and slow to judge. So what judgement I think it referring to is judging a persons heart or worth. Only God can see behind the masks we wear and knows whatis really going on in our heart so I think this is the kind of judgemt we should leave to him. A good example just popped into my head. Do you think God would expect us to allow a pedophile to babysit our kids because he quotes to us you shouldn't judge and yor supposed to forgive. In such cases we should be using wisdom and sound judgement.

Perhaps it is a lack of understanding, remember, "study to shew thyself approved unto God, a workman that need not be ashamed. I personally feel if we know the character of the Lord Jesus, we would be more like him. Maybe they aren't familiar with the scripture, "judge not, lest ye be judged" however; In I Corinthians chapter 6.. I believe what the Bible says (paraphrasing) If you have something against another Christian, why take it to a court of law and ask a "heathen" court to decide instead of taking it to other Christians to decide who is right. VS 2 says, Don't you know that someday we Christians are going to judge and govern the world, so why can't you decide even these little things among yourselves.Don't you know that we Christians will judge and reward the very angels in heaven.
(I Corinthians 6:3)
Perhaps in their lack of understanding, they think that that they are to judge also the heathen (someone who isn't a Christian)
when they should be remembering that the Lord said, "he who is without sin, let him cast the first stone."

I dont know many things about the bible, but according to what I have heard people saying is spreading the word and try to stop people by having deviant and sinful lifestyles, thus judging them. What many Christians forget though is that they should help and share love first, and then pass some minor judgement if they see something too extreme. But no, they have to hate everyone and back it up with religion. I am glad that you can see this, as a Christian, and letting them now that its not only the non believers that dont like their attitude.

As a Christian I don't judge , but I am differentiating between Right and Wrong in People. Judging is not a Sin as Long as you don't Condemn, like for exam: You tell someone that because of what he or she did they will for sure go to Hell. But telling someone what is a sin or not , right or wrong it's definitely not judging. Remember this. Non-Christian will always feel that Christian are Judgmental no matter what. I learned this from experience.

God says that HE is the only real judge.
We ARE to judge those within the church if they stray away from God. But that is supposed to be done with the purpose of bringing them back...not condemning them.
We ARE NOT to judge those outside the church.
Here is the very clear teaching:
1 Cor 5:9-13
9 I have written you in my letter not to associate with sexually immoral people- 10 not at all meaning the people of this world who are immoral, or the greedy and swindlers, or idolaters. In that case you would have to leave this world. 11 But now I am writing you that you must not associate with anyone who calls himself a brother but is sexually immoral or greedy, an idolater or a slanderer, a drunkard or a swindler. With such a man do not even eat.
12 What business is it of mine to judge those outside the church? Are you not to judge those inside? 13 God will judge those outside. "Expel the wicked man from among you."
(from New International Version)

Those who are not believers are very quick to be offended when a Christian disagrees and express our position. I don't know what you have read or heard that caused you to ask this question, but we are all different and some of us ARE offensive and judgmental. But the only way to avoid being accused of being judgemental is to agree with everyone on the subject of religion.

I just think it's funny how people are being judgemental to your question. I think they are because they are told to be by those keeping the fairy tale alive. I'm not Christian and a little of that is because I realized I didn't like being told how to live morally correct. I treat everyone with respect, and I guess I'm one of the few who don't need to have a bible in my face to do so.

I agree with you. I hope I have not fallen in this category, and if I have, I apologize in advance. I am a Christian and I see much rudeness on this site and in the world all over. To often people forget that because they have found Jesus, that doesn't mean they are now perfect and it doesn't make them any more righteous. A clear case of the Pharisees! Jesus set them straight!!

I can shed some light so that you can see clearer.
Your perspective is limited and based on what you see or witness so far, you think that all Christians are like these but nothing can be further from this truth.
Go and attend a better church and widen your perspective.
Shalom.

Some people make fun of others for doing something because they have also done the same thing (but to a lesser degree) and so it makes them feel better that they didn't do as bad as that one person and pointing out how "bad" that person is also makes them feel better. Sorry for that terrible sentence that should have been more than one...
