Jojoba oil is good. I recommend the one from Dessert Essence.

Just a tiny bit helps control your hair & conditions it. It is non-comedogenic so you won't break out & natural.

Aubrey Organics makes organic, natural hairstyling products but I haven't used them much.

I'm not sure y a hair product would be bad for the environment but I know Paul Mitchell is very involved with the environment and many other things going on in the word today. their products are not tested on animals-check out their website I'm sure they can tell you better than I paulmitchell.com....their super skinny serum is awesome for frizz-and it cuts down on your drying time ! :)

I have found the Rogain actually helps, but it is inaccurate to say that it grows hair. What it does is keep your own body's' chemicals (DHT) from killing off your hair early, which is what happens in male pattern baldness. If you are starting to lose hair, you should start now, because if the follicles lay dormant for too long, they are likely to die permanently. There are lots of men that use Rogain preventatively like this.

Paul Mitchell, Super skinny serum is awesome! its very lightweight, and it makes your hair silky and shiny without feeling greasy. I used it every single day. Its about $12- $15 for a 12 oz.bottle . But a little pea size amount goes a loooong way.

I use Rusk Shining after I get done blow drying my hair and it doesn't weigh my hair down at all. I find it at most hair salons. It makes my hair shiny and much less frizzy!
