How do i get him to see the truth?

Well me and my ex have been broken up and we want to get back together but he thinks that i dont trust him on things. I do though and i am trying to get him to see that. He says he knows what im saying when i tell him that i trust him and stuff but he wants to give it time to like not think that anymore. And I really do know when he doesnt say the truth like there is this chick in detroit and he says hes not dating her but her profile says i love my eric and everything. but see i know he wants me because we have talked it all out. and he has never met this other girl. I have the advantage. So i just want to find out how to get him to see that we should be together sense we do both want to be together and to show him that even though from my opinion the other chick is prettier that i am better for him becuase out of the year i have known him we have been there for each other threw the thick and the thin. Please everyone help me out give me your advise i would really love to get some.

If you're not the only girl in the picture, then you shouldn't be in the picture. Tell him about the detroit chick and tell him you're not interested in being part of a harem. If he starts accusing you of not trusting him, tell him you've got good reason not to. Then show yourself the door. He needs to make some choices, maybe a little elbow room is all he needs to realize he's got a good thing going with you.
