Nope, the Shiites hanged him as they chanted the name of the leader of the Mahdi Militia, a sectarian insurgency group determined to create a fundamentalist theocratic Iraq. The people that hanged him are the same people as have been murdering up to 120 people a day and killing US troops. They are the power behind the Maliki government.
So, the truth is Saddam is dead, and the wars are just starting.

yeah, and there was a shooter on the grassy knoll, and they never landed on the moon. It was inevitable I suppose that folks would eventually troll the Internet with something like this.
However, there are two separate videos, and the unauthorized one, taken on a camera phone, has resulted in two men being charged for making the video, one of whom is an aide to the Iraqi PM. Furthermore, Saddam's grave is in a well known location.
I think it is safe to say this one happened, and everyone knows it. The conspiracy theorists aren't going to be able to work this one.

It wasn't faked. It was the real thing. An illegal video showed that.
But... if you have credible evidence to suggest otherwise, then tell us the website. On second thoughts, first ring the Whitehouse and tell them, then tell us the website.

Unfortunately the men who made fun of him and hung him are very real. Our sons and daughters should be pulled from that place and let them wallow in their filth. Saddam deserved to be punished but he died with dignity and should have been given the same.

you can google Saddam and watch the whole hanging...i watched it today by accident not knowing that it would show the floor dropping out from under him and his neck snapping when he dropped and showing him hanging there...sorta scary...and at first i was feeling a tad bit sorry for him(dont know why) standing there until he said that there wasnt a God and then i was glad to see him go...POOF!! out goes the floor!!...lol
