were all doomed.if The States cut off all pollution.the developing country's will catch up with us in the amount of pollutants they put out.look at China.damn nation those people can pollute. the Chinese white river dolphin was declared extinct last week. so theres no hope for humanity in regards to global warming. sorry.I feel especially sorry for the animals that will be exterminated.they cant run away from it all like we can. there will be massive destruction of the coastal areas.and famine. perhaps in the long run. this will kill off the human parasites enough to make a difference we allow millions of tons of mercury to be dumped into the oceans were its not safe to eat the fish and they keep on doing it. noone cares. we will ALL get cancer and die of other reasons related to pollution in a few hundred years and still people will say its natural.or theres nothing we can do. I pray for a virus to kill off most humans so as to save the earths .were such idiots.I dont know what God had in mind when he made us.Peace.

It will take a general consensus among all scientists that it is indeed caused by man and that preventive measures taken now will have a valid effect in minimizing these effects in the future. We need the proverbial "smoking gun" that will convince scientists, and in turn, politicians, that we had better start paying a little more attention to this problem.
As long as there is nothing but debate and disagreement among "experts" concerning this phenomenon, expensive and real preventive measures will not take place.

I am sick of this Liberal tree hugging question. There is no such thing as global warming. Glaciers are currently expanding....look it up....I live in San Diego and this has been the coldest winter ever. Also look at record lows throughout the nation. There has been more record low temperatures then high temperatures in the past 10 years. Al Gore is an idiot...stop believing him.

The only way to accomplish that is to throw the bums out, meaning the Conservatives, and vote for environmentalists among the Democrats.
