I have heard that it is bad for your hair but it seems to make mine look and feel better in the winter time. Are there any better products out there to help me comb out this long hair after I get out of the shower? All answers would be most appreciated....Thanks!

I used Thermasilk when I had really long hair. It feels really soft, even after you blowdry or straighten. Now I use Herbal Essences body envy volumizing shampoo. I think it'll work great for you since you have long hair.. it'll give it a nice volume and I don't get tangles with it. Try it out.. and the conditioner too !

I've used it and like it very much.....but the best conditioner I've ever used is Head and Shoulders conditioner. Use your regular shampoo, but get their conditioner. It makes my long hair easy to get a comb through. (Also, I use a wide toothed comb that is a "wet comb" and that does better than other combs or brushes I've used.)

I also use Thermasilk and it's one of the best shampoo/conditioners I've used. So if you're satisfied, I say stick with it.

I used it and the last bottle I bought had a pamphlet in it that said it is being discontinued and the new Herbal Essences line is taking its place.
