My mom is a hottie for her age of 60. She doesn't look a day over 35. Her ex is 70 but looks young also. They were together for awhile and he always had his eye on me. They are no longer together, and he recently contacted me. Should I take him up on his offer for a drink? Or is it too weird for him to be hanging out w/ a 23 year old?

Yes, the guy is a total perv! Not to mention that your mother loves you. How do you think it would make her feel if she found out that you were doing that. He may be an ex, but you are still her daughter. If you are still unsure, just ask yourself how you would feel if she were to date one of your ex's. Be honest. This guy is a total perv! What would a 70 year old man be interested in a 23 year old girl for. Think about it, you said it yourself, your mom doesn't look a day over 35 and appearantly, she wasn't young enough for him if he has had his eye on you the whole time. There is something wrong with him. But what is wrong with you?

Sounds to me like you are trying to get on the Maury Povich Show. You don't need us. You already know the answer. If you thought it were okay you wouldn't feel the need to ask those of us out here in Yahoo long. Here is a question I have for you. Is it worth taking a chance on ruining you and your mom's relationship? Instead of asking us why don't you go straight to the source and try asking your mom. You know what they say, "Mother knows best." Peace and God bless.

Dating your mom's ex-boyfriend would make an uncomfortable situation. (Like dating your best friends ex...it's just a don't) Add to it the fact that the two of you are 47 years apart and I'm wondering why you would want to date him. Other than your mom, I can't imagaine what the two of you would have in common. I say don't bother!

You are too young to waste time on a man that will eventually die in the 10-20 years.

Age doesnt really matter but it is looked down on in society so...if you really like him, you can give the relationship a try but check with your mom first if she finds this strange because your mom is definately more important than the guy.

Well, according to Moses and the Apostle Paul, what you are doing is a sin (you are not supposed to have sex with your step-parent, or anyone that your parent has had sex with, if that is what you are asking).

Besides, why would you want to date someone much older than you? What would you have in common? And if it got serious, consider the fact that he would die long before you would, leaving you lonely.

first of all, you need to have some respect for you and your mother. he is just an old prevert who wants to run through the family. if you have a good relationship with your mother, then don't ruin it over some old *** man. keep it real girl, blood is thicker than water.
