I'm an eclectic pagan, I practice and study Buddhism, Taoism, Hermetic Magick and have studied and practiced "green" wicca. I'm always curious which avenue of pagan theosophy is attractive to an individual and how he/she came to choose that path.

I'm interested in serious answers, but what the hey, no matter what you say earns 2 points, right?

I'm a Norse Pagan, a word that I use since I don't feel comforable referring to myself as a follower of Asatru and I'm becoming less comfortable calling myself a Heathen since I'm not a strict reconstructionalist.

I didn't choose my path: It chose me. I had always been fascinated by the Norse Gods and the lore of the Scandinavians and Icelandic peoples but never gave serious thought to worshipping any of Them, though I have been Pagan since I was 17 (I'm 28 now). Then 3 years ago I had an experience with one of Them that basically screamed "This is your path, accept it!" I did, and I've been on it since.

I like the diversity of the Norse religion, and the code of honor that runs through it. I also like the connection to my ancestors that following the path provides.

Reconstructionist Pagan. I'm usually studying about the Celts and their beliefs. I don't follow any set theology, as they really didn't lay anything down like that. I enjoy studying Egyptian and Greek cultures as well. I started in Wicca when I was 12... after study (which wasn't much for as young as I was) I became "Agnostic" for lack of a better word... then Yahwist (a form of Christianity) and then back to Paganism (it's all pretty much the same anyway)... I belong on the Pagan Path.

I am a Neo-Hellenic Pagan. My path is modelled after the practices of the Ancient Greeks but modernized for current times. We don't sacrifice bulls to Poseidon anymore, for instance. But we might grill a steak.
My path chose me really. I studied alot of Pagan paths years, joined various covens but Eos always spoke to me. When I started studying Classical Mythology it just clicked. I recognized the Goddess I'd been dealing with all along (I had just called her Dawn up to that point).

I gave Wicca a try after a lifetime of Christianty, but just couldn't do the whole Pick-A-Pantheon thing. Now I lean towards Taoism or even slight agnosticism. As a ceremonial magician, religion has no place in ritual anyway (at least for me!).

I'm very much an animist; everything has a spirit, from animals to my computer to rocks to cars and then some. The type of spirit and its consciousness may differ from mine, but all things are alive in their own way. I am an animal totemist; I do a lot of work with totem animals, though I acknowledge other types of totems (plant, etc.)

I'm also a pantheist...all things are a part of the Divine; I am a cell of the Divine, as the cells in my body create my physical form.

These are things that simply make sense to me. I'm very much a "Okay, this works, but I don't really agree with that so I won't include it in my reality". (I'm very informal about things ;)

I was Pagan for 10+ years. I started to become disillusioned with it because it started to seem like every book I read said don't listen to the other books, my way is right. But then they tell you to do what feels right. I found it becoming just as hypocritical as christianity. Now I'm Athiest. It just makes more sense to me.

i too am a practitioner *sp* of wicca and magick. i follow the karmic law, at its most basic level. if it hurts someone, dont do it, even if years later it helps them.
i believe that the mother goddes saw fit to create this world and the people to inhabit it. she saw reason to grant the humans animals to ease their solitary existance on this earth. she endowed these animals with spirits, conciousness, and powers of their own.
when she saw that her work was done on earth, she finally turned to her own lonliness. she birthed the god, a being she could spend eternity with, a being who would question her to make her stronger, who would stand behind her at all times.
she then gave us the Law, and the ways of Magick, so that we may commune with her and her god partner, and the plants and animals of nature, that she created.
basically thats it. i practice magick.
if you have any specific questions, please, feel free to email me.

well, i need to say, i´m a immortalist. and trying to sail over this sea of dumbness inside myself. whatever helps to do so, is welcome. and of course i´m doing magic according to the hermetic tradition, and meditating about the atoms and stars and the universe. and my religion is, to demand for truth until you find it. may our great mother divine be mercyful on us. tocktock
