Keep eating.
Depending on the drug(s), nausea doesn't usually set in until the third day AFTER treatment. Carbo load before this. Choose high fat (olive oil, canola oil, etc.) and high carb (potatoes, pasta, etc.).
When nausea does set in--TRY to eat. Sometimes food in the stomach can actually nullify the nausea.

Keep drinking water.
This helps keep the drug moving through, and out the system. The less you drink, the more nauseous you will become.

Sleep.
If you need the meds to sleep--DO IT. Have no fear of addiction to pain or sleep meds. This should be the last thing on your mind. Rest and management of pain is pivotal. Take the meds if you need them.

Don't be stupid.
My father thought it was a good idea to mow the lawn (2 acres) in late August (in Georgia) after a treatment.....he slept well the next four days...non-stop. Don't be stupid.

People react differently to chemo. Sometimes my parents were up, sometimes down. I've met people who never missed a day of work. Everyone is different.

One last thing, depending on how long the cycle is to last, many people start getting depressed half way through. Not sure if it's the chemo drugs, or the mental aspect of it all. If the doctor or family point out depression, and depression meds are offered--TAKE IT! My father was able to take them, and his personality and energy did a 180!

Good Luck & Take Care!

Listen to Firehorse, it is good advice. Ignore the advice regarding herbal meds- it is not known how they interact with Chemotherapy drugs and it could wind up killing you.

Eat well and rest. Add an exercise routine when you are able. Walking is good exercise and doesn't require special equipment.
