Have you never heard of the Posse Comitatus Act? Federal Troops cannot be used for Law Enforcement purposes. It's against the law.

You had better think this thru a bit more. At no time should a civil society be policed by the military. The term for this is martial law and is only used in dire emergencies. You may not like what you get if this were to happen.

Now that's a new idea I haven't heard but I'm sure it's something Bush/GOP has been thinking about. Troops in the streets of America keeping the peace. I think they already tried that in Nazi Germany. Worked very well there.
