for some reason, i can't word it right. i'm really bad with this kind of stuff so any rewrites would be unbelivably helpful. Its about Fahrenheit 451.
The people in this society do not read books, enjoy nature, spend time by themselves, think independently, or have meaningful conversations. Instead, they drive very fast, watch excessive amounts of television on wall-size sets, and listen to the radio on “Seashell Radio” sets attached to their ears.

I'm not exactly sure what you're asking for.. a paragraph rewrite or a description of the society?
Did Bradbury demonstrate the difference between a Utopian or distopian society?
Were the characters superficial by nature or taught to be that way?
Was the youthful spark of the inquisitive in Clarisse a reminder of something that Guy now lacked?
After Guy burned down his own house..where was home?
What kind of society would the survivors develop?

Many people of this society would rather spend their time driving dangerously; sitting, eyes glazed over, glued to their television sets; or listening to mind numbingly dull radio, than spend it meaningfully; enjoying witty conversation; thinking independently, reading books; or even taking a little time just to enjoy the wonders of nature.

The reason you are having trouble phrasing this sentence is because you have not used parallelism. That means that if you start out saying ".......read books, enjoy nature...," you should continue the pattern you have begun of verb+noun. "Spend time" follows the pattern, but you have added the prepositional phrase "by themselves," which breaks the pattern. "Think independently" is a verb+adverb, and "have meaningful conversations" is verb+adjective+noun. If you reword the sentences, pick a pattern and be consistent in your placement of the parts of speech and number of words in each phrase in the list.

people dont appercite life as much as they used to. they dont go out and enjoy nature thay just play with there electronic toys.
