i have returned an item that costed 400 dollars for a refund on monday at walmart.i checked my current account and it says that the 400 is still in my current balance...so i called the bank and asked them whats up and they said u have to wait 5 days from the day u had the refund...i was wondering is it even normal to wait that long for the money to go back into my unused credit?

They probably have an average of 2-5 days. Most credit card companies do. They told you the longest of waiting periods. I'd keep checking - hopefully it will show up sooner.

It is normal for the credit not to reappear on the same day. Five business days is decent. The waiting period varies by credit card company.
