What makes speed and cocaine addictive? Is it personality type of chemical? If chemical then how does one know if one is addicted?

it is the cehmicals that are addictive, addiction comes after one developes dependance and tolerance both. You can not live without it, and you need more and more all the time, you need to see a doctor if you are addicted to any drugs, good luck
