He's not MY doctor and has never met with me as a patient, but he is the doctor of one of my adult children. Can I date the doctor now? Or is he forbidden to date any relatives of his patients as well?

This depends on the wants of both you and the Dr. If the Dr. is interested in dating you, then he would know the consequences, if there are any. Good luck
