TRY USING A DARKER BROWN.

Yes. If you're going to do it at home, they have new lines for brunettes and naturally dark hair
Like Loreal Feria line.
It offers about 5 different colors of pretty browns for people with dark hair that don't overdo it or give you an undesired look.
Look at Wal Mart.
Or if you want to go to a salon, and pay a little more, a hair stylist can do this easy.
Good luck!

get it done in a salon. it can have a better quality bleach than what is sold at Sallys beauty supply. That was ok that your hair was orange--because you just need to lighten it enough for a dark brown tint to go on it, the bleach just needs to lighten it some--won't be on hair long. Remember a lot of color when you put it on your hair, it goes a shade darker med brown goes to dark brown, dark brown becomes black on hair. good luck

to try this and get the outcomes you decide on you may flow to a professional. Or your hair will appear like a carrot back. Hair coloration can't elevate coloration purely deposit it. The bleach lifts coloration, so in different words you may first bleach your hair to the wanted coloration point you need and then deposit the colour.

Try using John Freida's Glaze in the darkest brown. I use it also..and it's really nice! I haven't even colored my hair and I used to have black hair and now I have light hair after using the one in light brown color.
