If there was any audio from a video that i liked, i used to be able to play the video & just press record on Audacity, and I had my audio clip. however, this stopped working randomly... does anybody know how to get this to work again?

Uninstall and reinstall.
It's easier than trying to fix it!!!!!

Check to make sure that Adacity is looking for the out put audio on your computer instead of input...AKA Microphone.

If your computer is not working properly while you are working on it, it could be a problem with device drivers, hardware or software.
