Ladies, do you always prefer guys that are taller than you when you date? How about same height? How about a guy that is shorter than you? Would there be times if you would make an exception?

Yes I always want someone at least 4 inches taller, but would prefer 6 or more. My bf is 8-9 inches taller than me.
I'm only 5 feet tall, and I don't think that's unreasonable. I mean, the average height of a 14 yo is 5 foot 6 - surely I deserve someone at least as tall as a 14 yo?

It doesn't matter. I've seen a 5'2'' girl dating a 6'5'' guy... that's quite an extreme difference in height. I've seen taller girls with shorter guys. Same goes for the same size.
...Me... most guys (or people in general) are taller than me so for a guy to be shorter than me would be unusual.
It doesn't matter. Some may use it as an excuse to not date someone, but that is being superficial and they probably just don't like the person. (or didn't even bother to get to know them).
If two people really like each other height doesn't matter.

I prefer my guy taller then me. I guess its the way we look together in public, guys are usually taller then the girl to protect her kinda look. Plus i have long hands and when you tend to date a guy around your height or shorter his hands are small. That is really unattractive. Some ladies are willing to make an exception. Short guys need love too.

I am almost 5'10" and I would never have dated someone shorter than me as I am very self conscious of my height, even if it didn't bother the guy it would bother me. When I was single I was always more attracted to a taller man, even if a shorter man was more handsome... My husband is 6' so even though I really can't wear heels, he is still taller than me:0)

Well, I'm 5'10" so I can't be too picky. I of course prefer guys the same height as me or taller, but I am not limited to that. If I like someone I like them, it doesn't matter their height.

I married a man 3" shorter than myself (I'm 5'7")and from my experience, shorter men have always been kinder, sweeter and better lovers than the "tall and handsome" guys. I recently talked with another short-sugar about this, and he said because he's shorter, he tries harder...and I think that's true. He also said he loves tall women! (sorry, I'm taken). I don't think height should be an issue; but "heart" should. I would be proud to be with any sized GOOD man and I woundn't trade my 5'4" man for anything! OH...and I don't have any problem wearing 4" heels with him either! He loves it and so do I. Godloveya.

No. I am 5'9", 6 ft in heels. The height thing bothers men more than me. I would never not date a guy because of his height, and I never wear flats. If the chemistry is there and he is confident enough to handle a taller woman, that's sexy

My hubby is shorter than me so yes i would say that i made an exception...lol.....but i always prefered taller men,,,but i guess i cant have everything right?? Its all the same to me. It shouldnt matter if you both like eachother.

To me,it does matter. Imagine a girl taller than the guy. People would think he is your brother. RULE #3 IN DATING: male HAS to be taller than the girl.

i really, really, really REALLY would prefer if my guy was taller than me. same height, ehh.. i don't know it just doesn't look right, you know? to me that's like twins..lol. because a man is always supposed to be "the man" you know taller than a woman. and i don't think i would date someone shorter. BUT, these are my exceptions:
- i fell in love with him
- he respects me unlike other guys
- he is to-die-for HOT.
- he loves me.
- a real gentleman unlike other guys
- we have real fun and chemistry (he makes me laugh.)
- we just get along better than any other couple.
