Well weed can stay in your system for up to a month. Sometimes even longer, it absorbs into your fat cells and depending on how much you sweat it can stay a while. Drink lots of water!

I'm assuming you have a drug test approaching. THC is stored in fat cells throughout your body including your brain. Your body stores THC for up to a month but only if you are a heavy smoker. If you wait a week most people should be fine. If you need to pass a drug test I would drink a couple of pots of coffee before you take your test. Coffee will have you peeing like there is no tomorrow because it is a diuretic due to the caffeine. Your body can only release the THC by burning the fat that the THC is stored in. If you give your digestive tract a through flushing with several pots of coffee you will pass.

Yes, weed gets in your blood and can stay there for around a month.
So if you smoked some, don't plan on applying for a job with a drug test!
