Go ahead and put her down.Or maybe instead of taking time to get on the computer and come to yahoo answers ask this question and wait for 3 days for somebody to give you an answer or maybe cast a spell to actually cure your feline friend, just take her to the damn vet!

First of all have you had your cat long (i.e. do you know the history) and has it been vaccinated? Second the only way to know for sure if this is an issue is to see a vet. This past year my two cats started sneezing with lots of congestion and not eating very well. I took them to the vet and they had what my vet call "cat flu". They slept most of the time and I thought I was going to lose my smaller one because I could not get her to eat. The vet prescribed an antibiotic and the use of a warm mist vaporizer to help with the congestion. It took almost two weeks for them to get better and actually eat normally. Hope this helps and good luck.

Your cat may have any number of problems including an upper respiratory infection. I have a cat here that I am fostering that has the herpes virus and has recurring URI's and she sneezes a lot.

As a matter of fact the people who owner her did not get her treated and she is now totally blind which was completely preventable if they had just taken her to a vet.

That is exactly what I suggest that you do, take your cat to a vet. The sooner that you do it, the better.

Aww don't panic. Just take her to the vet. Like someone else said, she probably has a respiratory infection which can be easily resolved. She may also have allergies, my cat does. You're vet will be able to tell you. Best Wishes

Sounds like your poor kitty has a bad case of Upper Respiratory, if there is mucus coming from its nose, and mucus from its eyes, then that is the case. If you have other cats they will get it as well, it is an airborne virus, you will need to take your kitty to the vet as soon as possible.

As long your cat is eating the way he/she normally has, I wouldn't be very worried. If he/she stops eating I would be VERY concerned and take him/her to a vet right away. When a cat stops eating it means something is VERY wrong.

My cat did that all the time! We took him to the vet and he had allergies. He also had sores on his nose, feet, and ears, he sneezed alot, too. He got kitty allergy medicine, and is doing fine now. (He still sleeps alot though!)

Take her to the vet. You can also give her 12.5mg of benedryl which would help with the sneezing to make her more comfortable until you can get into the vet.

It definitely sounds like a respiratory infection. She should be fine, but she needs meds. Take her to the vet and get them for her.

she probably has an upper respiratory infection and needs to see a vet. They'll give antibiotics for a couple weeks.
