What is the best flower to get a girl? I want to get her jsut a single solitary flower when i do it. I was thinking a rose but any kind in particualr would help. I am also open to suggestions other then a rose.

try a pink rose. it's not boring like a white one & not overly romantic & cheesy like a red one

I used to give roses out when I was a young man but as I grew older I began to realize that it doesn't have to be a rose to woo a girl over my friend.I love roeses alot and for that reason I got into gardening.Many of my friends said I was turning soft or gay but women love flowers and the more you know the better.I love Tulips all kinds and colors also lilies but I also found Iris's and even simple daisies wil work.When you give a lady or girl a rose or flower it doesn't always have to be red.I found that the more exotic and diverse a flower the more it is appreciated. Such as a bouquet of purple and blue Iris's or Tulips or even Lilies.The rose is the most popular and my favorite flower so I like pinkish-red,or a bright yellow.Acordding to tradition every color of rose has its own symbol.Red-Love,White-peace or friendship as well as yellow. Go and check out a book on flowers all types and youll see they're all pretty in their own way and woman tend to see that beauty and if you can recognize it then it shows heart.Dont be ashamed cause others might tease,be a player and get that girl thats true game.Samuries arrange flowers to practice patience and skill and balance to recognize beauty in all that may be ugly.So its very manly to pickup that hobby.I love it and so do many of the women Iv'e dated .Now all my friends come to me to get flowers for their girls cause I have a huge rose and flower garden.Good luck. TRY a pinkish white rose.

Roses always work and they do make a girl feel special, but they're so cliche. My favourite flowers are lillies and that is what my ex always used to get me but if you're just going for the single flower, PERSONALLY I'd prefer something like a giant daisy, just because it's different. Depends on the girl though. If she wanted a rose and you got her a daisy you might look cheap =P.

Ask a friend of hers to find out what kinds of flowers she likes. Everybody always gets roses-it's nice to see someone going in a different direction--myself I love gardenias--they are so beautiful and the smell is so deep and rich--they are a beautiful big single flower too!

Well i don't know how long you have known her,a rose is ok red means love yellow means friendship. My favorite is a carnation.
