I was watching "The Biggest Loser" and this guy worked out like a dog and didn't lose any weight. (He was eating healthily) The other people on the show said that he exercised too much. How do you know how much is too much? I'd hate to spend too much time at the gym when it is futile after a certain point.

From a trainer friend of mine. Work upper, mid and lower body at least 20 min each per week, like upper on Monday for 20 min, mid 20 min on Wednesday and lower on Friday. Tuesday and Thursday 20 min run or 40 min fast walk. Don't do anything on the weekend except maybe walk he says the weekend is for having fun. That's all he does and he looks great...

Eat nourishing food with plenty of fresh fruits and vegetables being part of it. Chew each morsel at least 32 times. This will activate signal to the brain as soon as u have had enough. Besides this change in eating style, take regular light exercises and brisk walks every day. U will be able to gain/shed all extra weight gracefully and in a reasonable time span.

exercise once in a day till ur exhausted and just want to give up.that means u went to ur maxmimum endurance..as u do this more u will have higher resistance...my friend cant run 35 straight nonstop laps at a fast pace ..while i can go upto 25
dont exercise too much..for example if a guy who wants to make muscles works out like 6 hours a day..he wont make muscles properly because he is not letting his body relax

Too much is when the next day, two days, three days, you hurt all over! That means when you exercised, you OVER exercised and sprained, strained everything. This does NOT make you healthier or stronger.

Theres a fine line between working out hard and doing too much.
Each person has to know his/herselfs' limit.
