If you have an emergency vet near you (they're open 24 hours) I would suggest you take her as soon as possible. There really isn't much else you can do.

yes you definitely need to take her to the vet, she may have a concussion or fracture, so best to be sure. She probably has a headache from it, is there any 24 hour vet near you? I'd get her there. If not then you have to wait until tomorrow. I would ice her head to reduce swelling and pain, and keep her quiet, no play. Let her decide on eating and drinking but if she vomits, withhold food and just leave out water for a few hours and then slowly give her a spoonful. You didn't say how she was acting weird, is she groggy? meowing? biting? I'd watch her carefully until you get her in, sometimes cats with head injuries have seizures, a seizure can be vacantly staring into space, head tilted to 1 side, walking like they are drunk, and actually falling over and spasming all over. If she does act like a seizure, move her to a bed/box and just rest your hand on her back and let the seizure ride out it's time, but be sure she doesn't vomit and choke.

I feel your pain! I love cats especially all 4 of mine! She's going to be ok till you get her to the vet. Just let her be or comfort her in your lap...let her take a nap, thats about all you can do girl. Also if you have a 24 hour vet clinic around there, thats an option too! .One time I was over my former friends house and his girlfriend was with him which was always a mutual friend of me.We were all really drunk! I left the room to use the bathroom and when I come back he has his cat in a black plastic bag with a rope connected to it SWINGING THE CAT IN THE BAG OUT THE WNDOW! SECOND STORY OF THE HOUSE! And its all funny and exciting to them till the bag broke and the cat flew out the window! I rushed downstairs and picked the cat up..her nose was bleeding and she was acting really out of her normal self...! Just an inspiring story to give you some hope, girl.Your cat will be fine! She's just a lil clumsy! lol Best of wishes & Good Luck.

Don't take her to the vet right away. do some online research. See how she acts for a couple of days. Its better than taking it to the vet and being charged a arm and a leg to find out that its alright. Which it probley is. When it hit it's head and got a small gash. If its just a small-medium rip of hair and skin it should be fine. my cat used to come home with Muti gashes all the time, And over time they healed. You might want to second think about going to the vet right away.... She most likely was cought off guard when it happened...And it scared her..
I see i got a thumbs down... I know she must love her cat.. I too do love my cat to death. When i first saw my cat with gashes all over her body i thought the same thing....Its normal with the owner of the pet...

Cats are one of the most resilient creatures on earth. Quick to get hurt and quicker to heal. I probably wouldn't worry about it too much. Monitor her tonight, let her rest and she should be fine in the morning. If she is still acting weird, then take her to the vet. She might also be a bit embarrassed if you witnessed her misstep. I previously lived with up to 9 cats, though none of them mine .

Good Job taking her to the vet tomorrow, for now monitor her best you can and make any noted so the vet will know more when you take her tomorrow. If she gets really bad though like seizures, walking into things etc...see if you can get her into an emergency clinic tonight.

If you can get her to an emergency vet, I would highly suggest it.
If a cat's in shock, they will act wierd also. You can find signs of shock on google.
Keep a very close eye on her tonight.

There might be an emergency vet in your area. I would keep an eye on her and watch for things like her pupils being different sizes. If you think something is wrong then please take her to an emergency center. Best wishes
