Toradol is an anti-inflammatory drug. It has no narcotic effect and will not make someone feel high. She might think it will because hospitals use it for pain for the anti-inflammatory efffect, but it is not a narcotic pain killer. It is like Ibuprofen. Still, if she is taking it and not being prescribed it, you should help her stop. There can be other side effects of taking it for long periods of time and she shouldn't unless prescribed by a doctor.

You should do a search on the web and find out exactly what toradol consists of, I thought it was more of an anti-informatory med. I would talk to her about it though (after you find out the info) because she's obviously having a hard time with this. There are also plenty that she can get over the counter that are just as addictive, if she was prone to pain meds, then there are alot of products out there she can access that have codeine in them. I wish you and your family the best of luck.

I don't think that she should be taking toradol. It's a strong pain killer that shouldn't be taken for more than 5 days at a time.Talk to your sister and encourage her through these rough times. Sorry I can't be of more help.

I don't think this is a narcotic painkiller. It's a non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drug (NSAID), which are generally not addictive. It's a prescription drug. Does her doctor know of her addiction? Does she have a medical condition where she requires pain meds?

she probably shouldn't be taking it, but maybe you should talk to her about it. she COULD have a valid reason. If not, maybe she needs more help. good luck!

take her back to rehab. If she's hiding it, it's not a valid medicine.
