I'm sorry, but you saying 'I always end up eating meat by accident' is a stupid excuse.
Most people are vegetarian because they either hate the way animals are treated, or they dislike the taste of meat.
You obviously like the taste of meat, if you "accidently" forget.
My suggestion is that you do not turn vegetarian. If you doing it for health reasons, then find another way to be healthy. (E.g. cutting out candy, etc.)

What is your reason for giving up meat? Is it because you feel sorry for the animals or is it for health reasons? If you end up forgetting and eating meat anyway, then maybe becoming a vegan just isn't really your thing, after all. Besides, it doesn't seem that healthy to cut an entire food group out of your diet.

Then you really don't want to. try taking it slowly cutting out a few things at a time. there are different levels of vegetarians and some that I know that are not vegans eat red meat once in a while. you just need to make sure you get enough protein so you don;t affect your muscles, hair etc that need protein and re examine the reason for becoming a vegetarian. being one does not automatically mean you will lose weight and if its' for health make sure you do it right so you get all the nutrients you need

Turning vegetarian is a very difficult thing to do, so don't feel bad for eating meat. The thing I find works best is not to cut out meat entirely all at once, but to slowly cut out different kinds of meat. Start with your least favorite, then slowly stop eating another kind and another. Good luck!

Well, I usually just eat whatever doesn't have meat with it.
For example, I don't eat burgers, but I have Boca Burgers.
(I'm a vegetarian myself. And meat is NOT good for you. It's disgusting how much crap is in it. Do you like consuming the tissue of a dead decaying animal that's been doused with incandescence?)

I think you should just continue with it. If you slip up, that's cool, just try to not eat anymore in the future.
While it is true that a vegetarian diet is much healthier, some meat once in awhile is not going to hurt you at all!

You can be 95% vegetarian and then it is OK if you slip. See this site for healthy vegetarian foods and see veg concerns to make sure you are geting what you need like B-12. I am vegetarian and when I slip I just go out set 10 bums on fire and rape 20 women and then I am OK. :-D The point is don't be upset that you are not perfect.

I have a question for you----Why do you want to become a vegetarian? And....How important is being a vegetarian to you? Rate it on a scale of 1 to 10. If it's 5 or higher, I'd say keep at it.
Practice makes perfect and an occasional slip won't kill ya! Just keep at it.... and good luck to ya.
